Melissa Aure is a PNW-based product designer currently driving growth across acquisition and activation through strategic experience design.

A fixer who enjoys getting down to the nitty-gritty of solving problems and optimizing systems. She’s taken products 0→1 and finds the bottlenecks while making sense of the complex workflows and messy data most designers miss.

ABOUT

With a background in strategy, mixed methods research, data analysis, people management, and visual design, I offer a 360° holistic approach to UX and Product. Throughout my career of 7+ years, I've worked on marketing websites and web and mobile apps across Entertainment, Productivity, Education, and more. I've really enjoyed working on growth for SaaS companies, often optimizing funnels and conversion, managing complex workflows or data, and navigating the intersection of AI and UX. If you want to know what it's like to work with me, here's my design POV:

3/3

Move with Purpose

Good UX decisions are grounded in logic, but ambiguity isn't a reason to stall. Naming the assumption and building a way to test it lets the work keep moving without losing the intent behind it.

2/3

Stay Curious

I come with an arsenal of questions to pull back the layers on what the problem actually is. The answers are in the data, the interviews, and the workflows, and I go through all of it to find the patterns and where people get stuck.

1/3

Design is a Team Sport

The best designs happen in collaboration. When you pull in cross-functional teammates, SMEs, and customers into the work, that makes the output richer, the thinking sharper, and the direction more focused.
